UAE: Dubai to roll out over 200 ultra-fast EV charging stations for taxis starting this year

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Dubai Taxi Company have signed a long-term contract to deploy 208 ultra-fast EV charging points across the emirate. This initiative, rolling out from late 2025, aims to accelerate taxi fleet electrification, significantly reduce carbon emissions, and enhance operational efficiency for drivers, supporting Dubai's green mobility goals.
